Vivienne S. Lang (Christener) passed away at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ 07834
at the age of 96.
Born in Paterson, NJ to the late Ludwig and Ida Christener she had lived at The Oaks in Denville since 1998.
Vivienne volunteered at Saint Clare's Hospital in Denville for over 30 years. As assistant to Sister Mary Urban she created and sold floral arrangements and crafts at the "Nun Better" shop for the annual Harvest Festival. She was also an avid collector of porcelain dolls.
She was predeceased by her husband George F. Lang in 1994. She was also predeceased by her second husband Art Elias who passed away in 2012. Her sisters Lois Tintle and Marilyn Anderson also predecease her.
Vivienne is survived by her daughter Susan and her husband Tim Kempson of Kinnelon, NJ as well as her grandchildren Meredith, Timothy and Sibyl Kempson and her nieces & nephews Gail and Walter Nelson, Carol and Tom Warren, and Jeffrey Anderson and Jeff Soukup.
