Obituary of Jane Krauss

Jane Krauss passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Pine Acres Nursing Home in Madison. She was 87 years young.

Born and raised in Hackettstown to the late Mary and Ellery Young, she has been a Denville resident for over 60 years. She married her soulmate, William, in 1955 and they settled in Glen Ridge before finding their forever home in Denville. Together they raised three wonderful sons. She loved to travel, especially on cruises, with her family. For a period of time, Jane had worked for Fireman’s Fund Insurance in Parsippany. Her true calling was to be the best wife, mother, grandmother, and friend that she could be. She will forever be treasured in our hearts.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, William, Jane leaves only joyful memories to her adored sons, Jeffery Krauss, Peter Krauss, and Eric Krauss; and her cherished grandchildren, Hannah Krauss and Connor Krauss.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, August 17^th from 4 – 7:30 pm with Funeral Service beginning at 7:30 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Burial will be private. Please leave a condolence and special memory for her family.
