Obituary of Teresa Regina Savio

Please share a memory of Teresa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Teresa Regina Savio (Readling) passed away at Care one at Madison in Morristown, NJ after a long courageous battle on August 6, 2018, at the young age of 48. Born and raised in Oswego, NY she had lived in Lake Hopatcong, NJ for the last 16 years. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Union College in New York and received her M.B.A. from SUNY College. Teresa worked as Program Director for nonprofit organizations and most recently as Case Manager for the County of Morris. She could be described as being a cultured person due to her love of art, music, food, concerts and broadway shows. So much so that she was actually a D.J. while she was in college. Long walks & hiking with her family as well as trips to New York City were also things that she enjoyed, but above all else nothing came close to her love of being a Mother to her three adoring children. She is survived by her beloved husband of 16 years, Sean Thomas Savio of Lake Hopatcong, and her loving son Edward O'Brien of Woodridge, IL and her cherished twin daughters Gianna and Gabriella Savio of Lake Hopatcong. She is also survived by her adoring mother Maryann Readling of Binghamton, NY, and her loving siblings John and his wife Lorraine Readling of Buffalo, NY, Joseph and his wife Yvonne Readling of Binghamton, NY, Maris and her husband Trayon Davis of Montclair, NJ and Thomas Readling of Cooperstown, NY as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com, on Sunday August 12, 2018, from 2-6PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday August 13, 2018, at 10:00AM at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Church 75 Ridgedale Avenue Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.
