Obituary of James Iannielli
"In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous" - Aristotle
James “Jimmy” Iannielli IV has left his mark. He showed us how to breathe in the fresh air. He taught us that the “clearest way into the universe is through a forest wilderness”. Jimmy, we love you. It’s ok.
Jimmy passed away at his home on July 23, 2018. His friends and family are invited to celebrate his life on Saturday, July 28th from 1-5 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. A Funeral Service will begin at 5 o’clock. Donations in his memory may be made to the good work of The Rockaway Township Sportsmen Club. Please share your memories here. His family will cherish them forever.
Jimmy grew up in Rockaway, graduating from Morris Knolls in 2012. After graduation he worked at Adron, Inc. Jimmy was an awesome kid. He loved the outdoors and spent every moment he could in the fresh air. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and those who knew him best, knew this was his “happy place”. On any given day, one could find Jimmy in the woods or on “his” boat at the Jersey shore. He was one of a kind and a goofball. His nieces and nephews relished in their time with Uncle Jimmy.
Jimmy was a great friend and knew how to drop a smile on any face. He was enthusiastic about his family, his adventures, and of course…his camo. We are heartbroken but take comfort in knowing he is at peace, and each time the sun rises, the leaves fall, the wind blows…we will remember him.
He leaves a lifetime of happy memories to his Mom and Dad, who was his best friend, Dottie and James Iannielli; his doting sisters Jamie Bloete (Greg) and Jenna Iannielli; his nieces and nephews Chase, Avery, Lucas and Madeline; his maternal Grandparents Thomas and Dorothy Murray; his Aunts and Uncles; Aunt Judy Kelly and Uncle Mike, Uncle Tom, Aunt Beth Cassidy and Uncle Bob, and Uncle Michael and Aunt Erin; his dear cousins Mike (Shelby), Joe, Thomas, Travis, Tyler, Kevin and Brian, Katie, Ryan and Lianne; his loyal pup Ivan; and so many more dear friends and family. His paternal Grandparents James Richard II and Judith Iannielli and his Uncle Alvin Poole passed previously.
