Obituary of Jorgen Froysland
Fuzz
Jorgen Froysland, endearingly known to most as “Uncle Fuzz”, has left this world a funnier place. He passed with his family by his side on Saturday, July 14, 2018. He was 72.
Jorgen was born in Norway to the late Haakon and Noomi Froysland. As a young boy, they traveled to America and settled in East Hanover where he grew up. After his schooling, he served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. Upon his honorable discharge he moved to North Jersey and then settled in Pa many years later. Fuzz was a skilled and talented carpenter. He had a gift like no other. He loved his work and enjoyed teaching and helping young carpenters along the way.
Fuzz truly was “one of a kind”….a “classic”. You never knew what might spill out of his mouth. He was stubborn and deliberate, and never shyed away from “telling you like it is”. He enjoyed cold Busch beers and spending time with his dear family. His family meant everything to him. Although we are saddened by his passing, we know he is bellied up with his brother, laughing away….at that heavenly watering hole in the sky.
Predeceased by his brother Albee; he leaves a lifetime of crazy and funny memories to his sister Karen Spain; his nephews Richard and Robert Froysland and Todd Spain; his nieces Diane Giordano and Robin and Dawn Spain; many great nieces and nephews and longtime friends and customers.
As per Fuzz's wishes, cremation services were private.
