Obituary of Vincenza Trentacoste
Vincenza Trentacoste, of Randolph, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. She was 92 years young.
Born and raised in Palermo, Italy to the late Luigi and Rose Terrano, she was one of six children. Vincenza was a devout Catholic who said the rosary every day, and made sure to watch the Italian Mass on television when she was not able to attend church anymore. Vincenza broke the mold when she was born; she was the greatest wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend that anyone could ever dream of. As the matriarch of our family, she made sure there was always home cooking and baked goods to be enjoyed by all. She also crocheted booties and blankets for the family. The unconditional love and life lessons that she shared with us will remain for an eternity.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Carlo, and her son, Antonio, she leaves only happy memories to her adored son Luigi Trentacoste and his wife Francesca; her cherished grandchildren, Timothy and his wife Erica, Anthony and his wife Jacky, Antimo, and Sabrina; her treasured great-grandchildren, Ben, Addison, and Anthony; her caring siblings, Joe, Dino, Josie, Anna, and Caroline; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Cremation services are private. Please leave a condolence and special memory for her family.
