Patricia and family, I just read this obituary and it is the first that I have heard of Ed's passing. As you know, Ed and I were very good friends all through school and kept touch for many years afterwards.He was too put it simply a great guy. Please accept my sincere condolences. I had the honor to have worked with Ed at MONY. Beyond sharing his formidable technical knowledge, he taught me what it means to be a true professional. Always conducting himself with dignity and grace, never once did Ed raise his voice, use irreverent language or disrespect others; traits he engendered in those lucky enough to work with him. The day Ed retired, the entire Compliance Department gave him a standing ovation as he left the office for the last time. Over the course of our lifetimes, we meet few people who leave an indelible mark on us as individuals; Ed was one such person. Working with him was a gift that I continue to cherish. Edward’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5: 28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". My parents Leigh and Flo Bachman my brother Tom and I grew up on 50 Claude Ave denville mom and dad trulyenjoyed the family mom was great friends with Wynn andmany ofthe family On behalf of my Family I send our prayers and thoughts to all Mom and Dad are with the Angels in Heaven a few years now they passed within 2 weeks of each other.
