I just learned of Randy’s death. I worked with him at St. Joe’s. He was an excellent physician, and cared deeply about his patients, not only medically but personally. He was always there for his patients, the staff and friends. We kept in touch sporadically over the years after I left St. Joe’s, so his death his a shock to me. This world has lost a great doctor and we are poorer without him. Be at peace, Randy. Watch over us. Know that you are loved, not only for all the good you did but for the person you are. My condolences to his family, especially Victoria.

Deeply saddened (and stunned) to learn of the passing of this compassionate and noble man. He has served many and especially the patients who came to him through the 35 or so years when he has been practicing medicine. He heard their concerns and treated their afflictions, often when no one else would listen. He has brought comfort to many who suffered. The world is a far poorer place with the passing of this special and wonderful soul. My special condolences to Victoria Marton. Your dad was a very special man; few could walk in his shoes. For those, like me, who are hurting on learning the news, I share these words written in 1932 by Mary Elizabeth Frye. I do believe Dr. Marton would share these sentiments and convey as much to those who now mourn and grieve his passing. Do not stand at my grave and weep - I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft star light at night. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep

Dr. Randy Marton will be dearly missed by his colleagues, health care and Staff Nurses and patients in St Joseph's Hospital in Paterson for his dedication in the care of HIV+/AIDS pts. Dr. Marton was a great educator to new residents and doctors..I learned so much from him just by joining his medical /ID rounds!..and ..I will miss his jokes! He was a funny man! Condolence to the Marton Family!
