Obituary of Edward James Cook

Edward James Cook passed away suddenly at Morristown Medical Center on May 22, 2018, at the age of 61. Born in Dover, he grew up in Rockaway Borough and has lived in Dover, NJ for the 38 years. He worked as a property manager for NJ Bell and AT&T for many years before retiring in 2008. Edward loved bowling; he bowled at Rockaway Lanes and sometimes was involved with 3 leagues per week. He also enjoyed cooking for his friends and family. He was predeceased by his younger brother Donald L. Cook in 2014. Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Donna (Wiedman) Cook of Dover, NJ. He is also survived by his loving children Kara Cook of Dover, NJ and Sean Cook and his fiancé Jessica of Spokane, WA. His granddaughter Olivia Cook, his parents Edward A. & Rita M. Cook (Of Florida), and his brother Gregory F. Cook of Mine Hill, NJ also survive him. A celebration of Edward's life will be held at a later date during the summer.
