Obituary of Salvatore John DiBello
Salvatore J. DiBello passed away peacefully on April 28 with his family by his side. His enthusiasm and gratitude for life will be greatly missed.
He was born in Jersey City to Zeno DiBello and Frances Sluberski. He eventually moved to North Arlington and Randolph before settling in Denville 14 years ago. Sal graduated from Queen of Peace High School and St. Peters College. He received a Masters degree in Accounting and became a C.P.A. He was one of two founding members and a principle partner in the accounting firm of Bruno, DiBello & Co., LLC, in Totowa, NJ.
Salvatore’s enjoyment was the accomplishments of his children and family. When he wasn’t involved with his family and work he was seen hitting a ball on the golf course or casting a line in the water. He was also an avid fan of the New York Giants and New York Yankees. Sal was a member of the Essex County Country Club for many years. He always was there when his family and friends needed him most. He had a generous, kind and loving heart.
He leaves behind special memories to his beloved wife of 47 years, Patricia (Hulse) DiBello; loving children Nicole (George) Dionyssiou and John S. DiBello; cherished grandchildren Cole and Zachary Dionyssiou; sister-in-law Gail Hulse; brother-in-law Edward Hulse (Jane); nephews Greg and Brian and niece Katherine Hulse and many other relatives and dear friends.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, May 3 at the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 4 at St. Mary’s RC Church, 15 Meyers Avenue, Denville. A donation may be made in his memory to Project Playground 2.0 Denville or the Denville Police Department by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org. Please leave a condolence or share a memory with the family.
