Obituary of Daniel Walter Gitelman

Daniel Gitelman (52), of Denville, N.J., passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, after a valiant fight with cancer.

Dan was born Sept. 20, 1965, in Malden, MA. For more than 20 years, Dan was the director of I.T. at Middle Atlantic Products, Fairfield, NJ.  Dan was the husband for 23 years to Karen (Dailey) Gitelman; father of Christopher, Nicholas and Ashley Gitelman; son to Gloria and Joseph Murphy; and brother to William Gitelman, Laurie Emmons, Julie Gitelman and Caitlin Fleck (Kenny), as well as a foster father to many.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018, from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville, N.J. 07834.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.
