Obituary of Marcel Pawlowski

Marcel Pawlowski passed away at Morris Hills Center in Morristown, NJ on March 14, 2018,

at the age of 79.


Born in Villeneuve-Sur-Yonne, France, he grew up in Hoboken and lived in Ridgefield Park for 28 years before moving to Lake Hopatcong, NJ a year and half ago.


Marcel served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959 – 1962. He then went on to own and operate the Hoboken Pork Store and also worked at Kocher's in Ridgefield before retiring in 2007.


He was an avid gardener and loved his rose gardens, he also had a passion for casino hopping and traveling, but above all else he loved to spend quality time with his family.


Marcel is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Adeline (Williams) Pawlowski of Lake Hopatcong, NJ. He is also survived by his loving sons Steven Joseph Pawlowski of Wayne, Marcel Hal & his wife Donna Pawlowski of Jefferson Twp., and Richard Allen and his wife Linda Pawlowski of Jefferson Twp., NJ. His grandchildren Jacqueline, Allison, Brooke and Marcel Hal Pawlowski III as well as his great granddaughter Jacqueline Allison Blake and his brother Edward Gadecki of Holy Oak, MA also survive him.


Visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 on Friday March 16, 2018, from 2-4 & 7-8:30PM with a service commencing at the funeral home at8:30PM.
