Obituary of Mary Lou Midlige

Mary Lou Midlige (Agnew), passed away peacefully at her home in Mount Tabor, NJ on March 2, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Rochester, NY, Mary Lou went to High School in Merion, PA and lived in Albany, NY and Morristown, NJ before moving to Mount Tabor, NJ in 1969.
Mary Lou achieved her B.S. in Business Education from the University of Vermont in Burlington. She worked as a Human Resources Director for Borg Warner in Parsippany and later Atlas Copco in Wayne, NJ before retiring in 1999. She was an avid reader and sports fan, and was particularly passionate about "her" NY Giants and NY Yankees. Mary Lou loved poetry, travel and being a homemaker, but mostly she loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Helen Agnew and her sister, Susan Brennan.
Mary Lou is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Frederick Midlige of Mt. Tabor, NJ. She is also survived by her loving sons John Midlige and his wife, Gabriele of Manahawkin, Michael Midlige and his wife Suzanne, of Bernardsville, and her former daughter-in law, Beth Schumacher of Berkeley Heights, NJ, and by her adoring grandchildren Cara, Megan, Abigail, Kyle and Jessica Midlige as well as her sisters Patricia Friel of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Kay Chamberlain of Akron, OH, and Nancy LaChapelle of Hinesburg, VT.
