Obituary of Frank E. Bartholomay
Frank Edward Bartholomay, 86, of Boonton, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2018.
Frank is survived by his wife, Brenda, of 26 years; daughters, Marie (Jim) Crothers, Carol (Mike) Quinn and son Dennis Bartholomay; sister Mary Marshall; stepchildren, John (Diane) Hope, Shelia (Darryl) Price and Dawn (John) Zagra; grandchildren, Dennis (Brittany) , Rachel, and Robert (Jessica Carducci) Crothers, John, Mary, and Catherine Quinn; step-grandchildren, MacKenzie and Jonathan Hope, Darryl Price, Jr., Rocco, Justin, and Julianna Zagra, and various nieces and nephews.
Frank was in the US Navy in the Mobile Construction Battalion and served overseas in Africa and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as a Petty Officer Builder Second Class and a Certified Diver Second Class. For his service he received a Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Medal during the Korean War. Frank enjoyed hunting with his son, his gun club, and liked history, especially the Civil War.

Visitation will be on January 21, 2018 from 12 – 4 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services in Denville with a 2:30 pm service. Donations in Frank’s memory may be made to the good works of the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.
