Bob was born in 1930 into a big Italian family.  He was raised in Union City and after his schooling he enlisted into the US Army, proudly serving our country.  Upon his honorable discharge, he met Antoinette Pullano.  After a whirlwind romance, the couple married on June 5, 1954 at St. Ann’s in Hoboken.  They eventually settled in Bloomfield where they would start a family of their own.  Bob worked for Worthington Corp. for many years, retiring in 1992.  He was a n avid reader, a proud Veteran and a loyal NY Yankee fan.  Above all, he loved and adored his wife and his family.

He leaves beautiful memories to his dear Antoinette of 63 years; children Phil (Carol) Privitera and Laura (Larry) Kaufman; grandchildren Nicole (Manny) Calderon, Monica Ciasullo, Joseph Privitera  and Harrison and Justin Kaufman; his great grandchildren Cristian, Lucas and Alanna; his brother Joseph Privitera and sister in laws Frances Privitera and Rose Pullano; and many more dear relatives and friends.  His siblings Theodore, Philip, Serena and Rosemary passed previously.
