I remember John when we were kids, playing on the ice behind his parent's house.
We once made a fort under the rowboat in the back where we perused his dad's Playboy mags for the articles!
Sadly, both brothers passed before their time.

To the family of John Ackerman
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have taken comfort knowing that God . . . will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain.”—Revelation 21:3, 4
The Bible, however, holds out a much different hope. As we have previously noted, the Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future, not in an unknown heaven but right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. And at that time humans will have the prospect of enjoying perfect health, and they will never have to die again. ‘But surely that is wishful thinking!’ for some may say. For words of encouragement please go to JW.org
Sincerely,
Roberta

Very sorry to hear about John. I went to high school with him. I believe I went to grade school with him as well, specifically Valley View school in Denville. I can't remember that far back though. That's going back about 47 years ago. My memory is a little rusty. I know however, that John was a great guy with a great sense of humor. We always got along. We used to joke around all the time. God Bless him and I offer my condolences to his wife and family.

A loved one lost can grieve the heart and make us yearn for tomorrow when God will keep the promise he made of no more pain, no more death, and no more sorrow (Revelation 21:4). Please accept my sincere condolences.
