Obituary of Carole V. Basinski

Carole V. Basinski, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017.  She shared 72 years of love and faith with her family and friends.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 22 at 10 am atSt. Mary’s Church, 15 Myers Ave, Denville.  Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 21st from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.  Donations in her name may be made to the good work of St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org

Carole was born in Jersey City to the late Stanley and Lillian Zuleg. After her schooling she met and later married Peter Basinski.  They started their family in Jersey City, and later settled in Denville where they lived for over 4o years.  She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary’s and enjoyed traveling often with her husband.  She was a loving and proud Mother of her children and loved to spend time with them.

Predeceased by her husband Peter in 2012 and her brother Donald Zuleg, she leaves beautiful memories to her children Peter and Sarah (Dean Luftig) and many other dear relatives and friends.
