Obituary of Joseph A. McNamee

Joseph A. McNamee III passed away suddenly in Denville, NJ on August 10, 2017, at the age of 62. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, he had moved to the Indian Lake section of Denville, NJ 26 years ago. Joseph achieved his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Fordham University. He then worked in the banking industry for many years, becoming Vice President of Chemical Bank in New York City before retiring. During his college years he was a member of the rifle club, and he was also an avid golfer, and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Gloria (Hernandez) McNamee, as well as his loving son Daniel McNamee, both of Denville, NJ. Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Wednesday August 16, 2017, at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834, then going to St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mt. Lakes, NJ for a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8PM.
