Kay was my nursery school teacher nearly 50 years ago. She was a beautiful person and friend of the family for most of my life. My mother, Patricia Thorpe, who passed in 2012, taught with Kay for many years. She impacted so many kids lives, and will be fondly remembered with love. Jennifer Thorpe

Mrs. Hutchinson, Kay, was a warm and kind neighbor on Dogwood lane. During my teen years, I was inspired by her wonderful gardening, and did my best to raise a couple tomato plants next door that might have met with her approval. Now, as the seeds are sprouting in 2017, I look back and say thanks for the inspiration. As a thirteen-year-old, I'd also like to say sorry about the firecrackers and waking the baby! Kay was my daughter's pre-school teacher and a very good friend to our family. She lived down the street from my sister. She always had a smile on her face, a hug if needed and an ear if u needed to talk. You will be missed Kay by many but you are now with your believed family in Heaven. RIP to a very special person.
