Obituary of Allan Bentley

Allan Thomas Bentley, 88, passed away on April 13. He was a General Contractor who owned his own business, Bentley Construction, retiring in 2000. Allan was an avid baseball fan, following the NY Mets. He enjoyed watching golf, reading, and spending time with his large family. Allan is survived by his wife, Marion (Bednar), his children, Susan Sangenario (John), Thomas Bentley (Sharon), Lynne Travers (Ken), Dayle Bentley (Jack), Donna Marshall (Tom), Lisa Vachon (Norman), Allan Bentley (Maryann), and James Bentley(Jolanta). Twelve grandchildren: Kenneth Travers (Peggy), Lauren Sangenario, Erin Travers Brown (Scott), Joseph Contreras, Anne Marie Sangenario Tamburello (Mark), Christopher Vachon (Megan), Matthew Sangenario, Allisyn Vachon Vogel (Thomas), Stephen Sangenario, Damien Wozniak, Brigette Bentley and James Bentley. Five great-grandchildren; Kloey Brown, Mickey Brown, Avery Brown, Christian Travers and Charlie Tamburello, and his siblings Robert Bentley (Janet), and Carol Kettle (Peter). Funeral services will begin at 9AM Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ and then going to St Pius X Church, Montville, for a 10am Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at Rockaway Valley Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm.
