Obituary of Irving J. Catlow
Please share a memory of Irving to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Irving J. Catlow, Jr., passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 74 years young.
Born in Jersey City, he was raised in Palisades Park, spending his summers with his family at Indian Lake in Denville. In 1976 he took over his father's business, Catlow Movers, located in Jersey City. Irving was a proud member of Northwest Jersey HOG Chapter #2906, Rolling Irons Riders Club, and N.J. Warehousemen and Movers Association. Irving was a thoughtful, generous, caring, hilarious, and loving workaholic. He had an amazing work ethic and would help anyone that needed it. He was truly cared for by everyone in his community, having the endearing nickname of Dad. The legacy that he has left us will continue to live on in the hearts and souls of everyone who he came in contact with.
Predeceased by his parents, Irving and Eleanor Catlow, he is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Gail A. (Morrison); his adored children, Stacey Catlow-Zebian and Mark (Teri) Catlow; her cherished grandson, Anthony Catlow; his loving twin sister, Linda Reinbold; his caring nephews, Frank and Michael Reinbold; and his best pup, Jacqui.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 7th at 11:00 am at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834. Burial will follow at Denville Cemetery, Denville. Public Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 6th from 4-8 pm at the Funeral Home. Memorial Donations can be made in his memory to The Horsepark of New Jersey by way of http://www.horseparkofnewjersey.com/Donate. Please leave a condolence and special memory for his family.
