Obituary of Marie Summers
Please share a memory of Marie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
E. Marie Summers, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 28th following a brief illness. She was 67 years young. As per her wishes, private arrangements under the direction of the Norman Dean Home For Services were held. She was buried in the family plot with her dear Mother at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Please share your memories here with her family.
Marie was born in Dover to the late William and Ethel. She was a longtime Denville resident until a move to Budd Lake four years ago. She worked for Warner Lambert as an accountant, retiring after 38 years. In her spare time, she loved taking cruises and spending time with her many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was an awesome Aunt and Friend. Marie once said, “I had the best friends imaginable and wish to thank them for being there for the good, the bad, and the ugly.” She was an exceptional person and will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She leaves happy memories to her sisters Helen Suggs and Iris Chudley; many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends and acquaintances. Her parents and her siblings June, Joan and Walter passed previously.
