Obituary of Edward Francis Hart

Edward Francis Hart passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 doing what he loved the most, hearing the laughter of his four children. He was 80 years young. Born and raised in North Plainfield, NJ, that is where he met and married the love of his life, Audrey Weyant. Together they moved to Martinsville, NJ and started their family. They had 4 beautiful children and relocated to Jim Thorpe, PA for 6 years before settling down in Columbia, NJ. Edward was a humble, dedicated, strong, hardworking family man. He had an amazing work ethic and always worked to support his family. He retired in 2000 from Morristown Medical Center where he worked in the Building Services Department. Edward was a devout Catholic. His main passion and joy in life was his family. He absolutely adored his grandsons and he was a phenomenal husband and father. He will forever live on in our hearts and souls. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Audrey in 2012, left to keep his legacy alive are his cherished children, Lori Mele and her husband Anthony, James Hart and his wife Melissa, Thomas Hart and his wife Jennifer, and Lisa Hart and her fiancé Charles Weber; his worshiped grandchildren, Brayden Hart and James Leo Hart; and many other extended family and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at 10:00 am at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Public Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21st from 6 – 9 pm at the Funeral Home. Please leave a condolence for his family.
