I am so sorry for your loss. Something that has comforted me is at Isaiah 25:8 that says God "will swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces". How I do look forward to that. I hope that thought brings you some comfort.

Our sincerest sympathies to all of the Somogyi's. We are so saddened by the loss of Grandma Somogyi. She has been the honorary grandmother to all of our boys. When Kyle and Maddie played hockey with Jeremy, she and Grandpa Somogyi cheered for Jeremy as if he was their own. Never did a hello or goodbye go without "Grandma Somogyi" taking one of our faces into her hands and giving a kiss. She is a rare treasure who will be sorely missed, as she was so loved!!!

I am so very sorry you lost the "everything" to your family. Unfortunately, I understand what you are going through. She was the rock, the glue, the world to all of you! I get it. What a wonderful woman to have created such a wonderful family!
These upcoming holidays are going to be difficult ~ have her there with all of you! Make the delicious things she made (even if it NEVER tastes the same), decorate the way she decorated and do any silly little tradition she did. She will love that you're keeping her with you and recognizing all she did that meant so much to you!
Please know how often I think of all of you and what you are going through. I'm just so very sorry for what you are feeling.

I will always have fond memories of Mrs Somogyi at all of Maddie's soccer games. She was a great asset to each and every game. I am sure that she has her own personal stadium seat in heaven still watching, protecting and loving her family.

It is with deep sorrow we learn of the passing of our dear friend Kathy.
We have many, many wonderful memories of Somogyi, Purdy, McGavin, Hill & Allaman get-togethers, not to mention Indian Lake Club events.
Kathy's infectious smile and her constant positive out look toward life will always be with us. But it is her wonderful sense of humor and laugh that will remind us to enjoy life....each and every day.
Our hearts and prayers go out to husband Michael, Peter, "young" Michael and their families.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. Our deepest sympathy.

Our hearts go out to the Somogyi family at this time of great loss. She was one of the nicest, friendly and loving people we were fortunate to have met and will always be in our memories. No soccer game was complete without a hug and kiss from her on the sidelines before and after each game. She will be missed but we were all lucky to have known her.
