Dorothy Tonero, World’s Best Wife, Mom & Grandma
All That I Am or Hope To Be, I Owe To My Angel Mother….
Dorothy Tonero passed away peacefully on July 7, 2016 at her home in Concord, NC. She shared 73years of love and laughter with her family and friends. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15th from 11 am to 1pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. A Prayer service will begin at 12:15pm. Interment to follow at the Mt. Olive Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive NJ.
Dorothy was born in Dover to the late William and Alice Van Luvender. After her schooling she married Robert Tonero and the couple settled in Denville where they raised their family. Dorothy was an amazing Wife and Mom and kept busy with her childrens activities and St. Mary’s Church. She was one of the original woman ushers and loved the St. Mary’s community. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her gifts of love and family certainly give all who knew her much to celebrate.
She leaves happy memories to her husband Robert of 46 years; children Darlene (Skip), Butch (Yolanda), Kevin (Audra) and Heidi (Scott); her 11 adoring grandchildren, 6 great grands; and many more loving relatives and dear friends.
