Obituary of Baldassare Anthony Ferraro

Baldassare A. "Billy" Ferraro passed away at Morris View Nursing Home in Morris Twp., NJ on August 30, 2016, at the age of 85. Born in Morristown, he lived and worked in Morris County for many years before retiring to Highlands, NJ. There he was able to spend his free time pursuing his passion for fishing. He returned to Morris County in 2013, where he and his wife, Olga resided at St. Francis Residential. Billy served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and went on to work as Superintendent at the Water Authority in Morristown, NJ for 38 years ,retiring in 1988. He loved spending time on the water, even working on a fishing boat. He also enjoyed music, good food and traveling with his wife of 35 years, Olga. He is survived by his loving wife , Olga D. (Vanicky) Ferraro of Denville, NJ. His children Mark Ferraro , Stepdaughter Karla David-Marshall and 3 daughters Donna Mederos, Judith Ferraro, Robin Mercurio, also survive him. As well as his siblings Joan Plumbo and Joseph Ferraro and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 8, 2016 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 from 12-2PM with a prayer service and miltary honors starting at 1:30PM.
