My deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. We enjoyed his company at the Atlantic Rehab Pool and at our annual picnics. He always made us laugh. He was a fun person and full of joy. It was great to know him.

My condolences to all of Walter's family and friends. Walter and I became acquainted as volunteers for Family Promise of Morris County (a program that works with homeless families) through The Church of the Saviour. I coordinated the volunteers for our church and Walter was always eager to help. As his health started to fail, he came to me to say how sorry he was that he would not be able to continue with this work. I know this bothered him - what he had already done and the fact that he was so concerned about not being able to continue said a great deal about his character and his heart. May God bless him.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Casiano

Walter was the gentleman of the pool. As one of his "Pool ladies" I enjoyed his humor, stories and fun loving demeanor.
Walter brought to each of the women at the pool a fresh rose every Valentine's Day, and was the featured guest at our annual picnic at Loantaka Park. He always made a list of numbers, one of which each person selected. When the time arose he appointed one person as the number selector. The number chosen became the winner, and received the grand prize of that year's hat!
He had a way of making the simplest occasion a special one. We will miss Walter a great deal.

Brian, Scott, and Dawn,
So very sorry for the loss of your Dad.
Walter was a very special part of our " pool
Family" and brightened not only the pool with his conversation and stories but our picnics and luncheons as well. He made our Valentine's Day fun by handing out Red Roses to us!!
I will miss Walter...
All my prayers....

Walter will be deeply missed by our community. He always had a bright smile and sincere hello for one and all. His years of friendship and volunteer service to Cedar Lake events make up the fabric of our wonderful Cedar Lake family, which he so loved.
