Rest in Peace Donna. She was a friend to many. Gus ,Sr. always went to Town Hall to visit her. We followed in his foot steps when we were in Town Hall. Her door was always open and her cheerfulness in spite of obstacles made our day! We knew her parents through the NJ Foundation for the Blind and Donna was so active in many organizations. Her smile and spirit lit up and brought JOY to everyone. Prayers to Frank and family for peace and wonderful memories of a life well lived.

I am so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. She was a wonderful woman and so dedicated to serving others. She and my parents, Tom and Agnes De Lalla were good friends and how ironic she passed on the same day as my Mom. She was my cheerleading coach for St Mary's CYO and she brought us to victory in our competitions. I will keep the Costello and Izzo families in my prayers

To the Family of Donna,
I am very sorry for your loss. I have known Donna since I was a little girl. We worked on many volunteer projects together and she always had a seat for me in her office, so she could explain to me how something worked in our Denville Government. She was a wonderful part of Joey Bella, singing God Bless America every year in her very special Red/White & Blue outfit. One year she could not be there and she asked me to take her place. I of course did it as a lip sync, but she let me borrow her special outfit so we would all know Donna really wanted to be there.
Donna was a wonderful volunteer with our Chamber of Commerce. For more years than I can remember she was in charge of float and marching awards. When putting the parade together, I just had to make a quick call and hear the words "I already ordered the ribbons". That is the way I love to do things, with volunteers who do their job without any hassle. Her death as a child growing up in Denville, a graduate of Morris Catholic's first class, a member of Saint Mary's, and our town clerk will certainly leave a void in our town, but along with the void Donna is leaving us with a wonderful legacy of giving, she was a true jewel in our town of Denville. God Bless You Donna. sbb

Donna was one of the finest ladies I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She and my dad shared a special friendship and many of the same qualities of humanism, dignity, integrity, selflessness, and compassion.
Donna personified all that is good in humanity. Denville is a better place because of Donna's giving nature. She will remain in our hearts forever.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Costello and Izzo families at this sad time. She always greeted one with a smile and was ready and able to answer questions, help solve a problem, or provide information needed. She loved Denville and was also a great supported of its many activities and also the Fire Department of which she was an honorary member. Rest in Peace Donna.

My deepest sympathy from the Luger family. I remember my father in law Walter Luger working together Donna for many years. He was very fond of her. I am sure he was among those to greet her in the heavens, and has her catching him up on the Denville scoop. I had the pleasure of meeting Donna several times and it was a pleasure. May her family and friends treasure their memories and may she rest peacefully in the heavens

Dear Family,
Sending prayers of comfort for Donna's family and friends. Donna was a extremely special woman. I had the pleasure od meeting Donna in 1984, we worked together on the Denville Taxi fares.I knew right away how special she was. Her love of Denville and her career was plain to see. Years later we reconnected on a personal level. My late husband Hobie Erickson was a Denville Firefighter. Then I had a blessing of calling Donna friend. She loved and supported DFD.. with heart and soul. Donna would tell stories about her Dad who had been a firefighter. I could see her pride and love in her beautiful eyes.
My condolences to her amazing family. My heart hurts for you and also myself. I will truly miss my friend. I am sure others feel the same way. Donna"s personally was the type that never met a stranger, she had a way of making everyone feel accepted and special. The Lord gain another Angel. . I believe with all my faith that she is with Our Lord and her parents , still watching over Denville. . My sincere condolences

She understood the requirements of being a Township Clerk and fulfilled them with grace and ease. She will be missed by us and the Denville community.

Frank, Billy, Family,
Donna was a great woman and will be sorely missed not just by the family but by those that knew her.
I cannot thank Donna enough for the education she provided me to be a worthwhile Denville Councilwoman for 20 years. She taught me well. But most importantly was her friendship and support.
Even in retirement, she helped make calls to get the vote out in my Primary campaign for Freeholder.
Know that Steven and I will keep you in our prayers and remember Donna fondly. Unfortunately I will be away and unable to attend and offer my condolences to you directly.
