Obituary of Jacqueline K. Hill

Jacqueline K. Hill, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 5th at Morristown Medical Center. She was 82. Memorial Visitation will be held on on Saturday, July 9th from 2-4 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. A Funeral Service will begin at 4 pm. To share memories, please go to www.normandean.com Jackie was born in Brooklyn to the late Clarence and Helen Klein. As a young adult she traveled to Budd Lake, NJ where she met Craig B. Hill Sr. After a whirlwind romance, the couple married and settled down. They lived in Tacoma, WA for a short time and then made their home in the Indian Lake section of Denville. Soon they started their own family. Jackie loved Indian Lake and this community. She and Craig were involved in all things lake related. They were very active in the Community Club, and won the title of Mr. & Mrs. Indian Lake in 1982. Jackie worked at J& M Gourmet in Denville for over 20 years. She enjoyed this job, as it afforded her new friendships and always a smiling recipient of a beautiful basket. When she wasn’t working, she could be found at the lake, cheering on her beloved NY Giants or spending time with her sweetheart of 62 years, Craig. Above all; she loved being with her family; especially her granddaughters. She leaves wonderful memories to her husband Craig; son Craig Jr and his wife Marilyn; daughter Liz Donnelly and her husband Mike; dear granddaughters Anna Hill and Meg Donnelly; and many more loving relatives, dear friends and acquaintances.
