Obituary of Rosemary Haas
Please share a memory of Rosemary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rosemary Haas, (nee Burrows), passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. She was 87 years young. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 27th at 10:30 am at Saint Catherine of Siena Church, 10 N. Pocono Road, Mountain Lakes. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name are being accepted to the good work of Saint Catherine’s Church.
Rosemary was born and raised in Denville, graduated from Mountain Lakes High and has resided in both great towns her whole life. She was an amazing Wife, Mother, Grandma and friend who devoted her life to her family and community. Those who knew her are richer for it. She gave much of her time to St. Clare’s Hospital and Fransiscan Oaks. First, she worked as a nurse for many years at St. Clare’s Hospital; a career which she chose later in life and found quite fulfilling. Then, as a volunteer, she became an "in-house" designer at both facility's for more than 20 years .
Predeceased by her beloved son, 1st Lt. USMC Peter Brian Haas; she leaves only loving and wonderful memories to her devoted husband Peter of 60 years; dear son Brian and daughter in law Molly; grandchildren Peter and Haley Haas; and many more loving relatives and friends.
