Obituary of Richard L. Anderson

Richard L. Anderson, 63, passed away on Wednesday, May 20th. His sisters were by his side since he took ill Monday morning. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27th at 10 am at Sacred Heart Parish, Rockaway NJ. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 26th from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations in his name to the good work of the American Diabetes Association. Rich was born to the late Harry and Mary Anderson. He was the middle child, falling between his two sisters. After his schooling, he worked as a customer service agent for many companies, most recently Supplies Guys. When he wasn't working; he could be found with his family or on the golf course. He loved the game of golf- playing and watching. Above all, he enjoyed being his nieces. They had many competitive dart games, but more importantly; wonderful memories. He was very proud of all six of them. He leaves only happy memories to his sisters Maryann Murphy, Barbara Slezak, nieces Kimberly and Jennifer Murphy, Samantha Watts, Maggie, Kate and Aly Slezak, great nieces Taylor, Makenzie and Ashlie Watts, great nephew Zackery Watts; and many more loving relatives and friends.
