Obituary of Eric J. Giessler

Eric J. Giessler "In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous" - Aristotle Eric Giessler passed through nature to eternity, Saturday, May 16, 2015. He was 48 years young. A Celebration of Eric's life will be held on the green grass, surrounded by nature on Thursday, May 21st at 11 am at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. Friends and relatives may visit on Wednesday, May 20th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Those who wish may make donations in his memory to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center or to the Frelinghuysen Arboretum. From a young age, Eric was an outdoor enthusiast. He had a tremendous love for nature, his gardens and everything that breathes life. An animal lover, Eric nurtured creatures large and small. His over the top eye for style was apparent in every space he created. Strangers and friends alike gravitated towards Eric because of his infectious smile and all- embracing personality. He has left an impression on this world that will remain will all of those who had the fortune of knowing him. He leaves only happy memories to his lifetime partner, Thomas Fontana; his mother Eveline Giessler; sisters Stephanie Monrad (Jan-Michael) and Tanya Giessler (Christopher Quayle); brother Raymond (Carol Katz); nieces Emilia and Tessa Monrad, nephew Benjamin Monrad; mother in law Barbara Fontana; brother in laws Timothy and Todd (Laurie); his feline companions Tiger, Boots, Nilye, Elvis and Little Emma; and many more loving relatives and dear friends.
