Obituary of Edward Damien McCabe

Edward Damien McCabe passed away in Boonton, NJ surrounded by his family on March 7, 2015.
He was 79 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY he grew up in both Queens, NY and Mt. Lakes, NJ. Along with his wife Eleanor he resided in and raised their family in Mt. Lakes for 52 years before moving to Colonial Beach, VA 8 months ago.
Edward graduated from the NY Institute of Photography and worked as a professional photographer owning and operating Damien Studio of Photography in Denville, NJ for 43 years.
He was past president (2008/2009) of the Denville Rotary Club, and he loved the NY Mets.
Edward was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Eleanor (Lyons) McCabe in 2009.
He was also predeceased by his siblings Daphne Delaney in 2002 and Jim McCabe in 2015.
Edward is survived by his children Brian (& Penny) McCabe of Mt. Tabor, Ann McCabe of Colonial Beach, VA, James McCabe of Boonton and Kathleen (& Jim) Lundy of Boonton, NJ.
His grandchildren Meredith, Bridget and Allison McCabe and James, Thomas and Katie Lundy also survive him as well as his sisters Maureen McCabe and Rita Buckley both of Colonial Beach, VA.
Funeral services will begin at 9am on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834. A Mass celebrating his life will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Boonton, NJ at 10am. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Morristown, NJ. Friends may at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
In lieu of flowers donations in his name can be made to the Rotary Foundation.
