Immediately after meeting Kathy I felt like I knew her for years. I enjoyed celebrating and laughing with her so much. Kathy had the greatest sense of humor and would make me laugh until my sides hurt. She always asked about my family, especially the boys and loved hearing about my grandson. She was a wonderful friend and her wake tonight was a true testament to how much she was loved by so many people and the unforgettable memories she gave to all of us. To Mike, his family and Kathy's family, Lou and I loved Kathy and will keep her in our hearts forever. Thank you for sharing her with us.

I am so very sorry to hear the sad news. I knew Kathy through her love for animals and the volunteer work she did to help homeless animals. Kathy not only did fundraising for the animal shelter, she also did pet therapy work with her own dog and brought much joy to those who needed a comforting visit. Although I do not know the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. With deepest sympathy on your loss,

Dear Bev and Rudy, Kim and Vinny, Chrissy and Lou and Mike - Our memories of Kathy are precious, and always make us feel happy, privileged to have known her and inspired by her loving way. Her smile was delightful...her laugh contagious. She always built beautiful memories that will sustain us all.
I'm not sure which wedding it was that we all sat together at the notorius "Table 16." That was one great time, and we can't help but smile and chuckle every time we reminisce about it.
You are in our hearts, always, as is the joy of our time spent with Kathy.

To the family. Words cannot express enough how sorry I am for the loss of your wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and freind. The world will be a different place without her for so many. I wish I could take away all of the hurt you are all feeling now. Many of us met her young and near or far she has been our freind and an inspiration. She was always smiling and fun but taking care of everyone. When she became sick, she never complained about herself. She always wanted to hear about others and get well for her family. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her family was always such a big part of her even when she was away from them. The person that she was is such a huge testament to the love, caring, support and closeness of a wonderful family and I know she will be over you shoulders as an angel. She is with god now and he will reward her with all that she deserves.

I so regret how we let time and life separate us over the years. I have such fond memories from childhood; you were such a deeply rooted part of my life in spite of our distance, more than space or years could take away. What I wouldn't give to let you know that, to let you know how proud I was of the woman you grew up to be, and how much I loved you. There is a gap in the world without you in it. You added so much to our lives. More than I miss you, I grieve that I'll never be able to say hello again, hear your voice, see your face. How did I let that happen? I can only say you will be honored in my memory for the rest of my days.

If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane,
We would walk all the way to Heaven, to bring you home again
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye
You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why
Our hearts ache in sadness, and secret tears will flow

My first and most lasting memory of Kathy is her great smile, followed in a very close second by her laugh! Both were on display often and she was always a pleasure to be around. We all had so much fun together, doing the silliest girl things, and she was always right in there, adding to the merriment. I can see her sitting on the floor in whatever house we were at playing with the persons dog. Her presence will be missed. My sincerest condolences to Mike and her family, she was so clearly in synch with Mike, they were a wonderful couple just to watch because they were so affectionate, always seemingly attached at the hip.
