I only met Rose once at her home for dinner. Vincent, Josephine and I enjoyed the most delicious seafood pasta and other amazing dishes. I took home as much as possible for leftovers. I felt at home and comfortable from the second I walked in the door. I loved taking with Rose and only wish I had known her longer.

As a child I always looked forward to visiting Aunt Rose.
I loved her home, especially her room which was decorated so beautifully, I loved her cooking which was always delicious, and I just loved spending time with her. I always admired Aunt Rose's taste and loved to see what she would be wearing as she always looked impeccable.
One more recent memory that I can share occurred at my bridal shower a few years ago.
I was opening gifts and opened up a very pretty white tank top and shorts which looked as if it were pajamas.
My friends held it up and I remember thinking that is very small, I am not sure who thought that would fit me and then I hear Aunt Rose's little voice saying oh my god, thats mine, it wasnt supposed to be be with the gift. Everyone cracked up from it. Aunt Rose was kind hearted, beautiful, and a class act. She will be missed tremendously.
