Obituary of Nancy L. Sulpy

Please share a memory of Nancy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Nancy Linda Sulpy, who left this world to join her beloved husband, John, in Heaven on January 7, 2025, at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. Nancy’s passing came less than a month after John’s, and together, they are now reunited in eternal peace. They shared 40 wonderful years of marriage, having exchanged vows on August 25, 1984.

Nancy was born in 1948 and raised in Staten Island, NY. As a mother, she was a guiding light to her two children, Tami (Daryl) Underwood and Scott (Kristen) Pigeon. She was also adored as a grandmother by Nicole (James) Pritchard and Natalie Underwood, and cherished her role as a great-grandmother to her loyal pups, Reign and Ruger.

Known for her warm heart and boundless energy, Nancy had many passions. Her garden reflected her nurturing spirit, with vibrant flowers blooming in every corner. She loved the holiday season, filling her home with Christmas cheer, decorating, and baking hundreds of cookies, which she joyfully delivered to friends and neighbors. Nancy’s love of travel took her to many places, both near and far, often accompanied by her husband and loved ones. The two especially enjoyed cruising, with memorable trips to Alaska, Bermuda, and Hawaii among their favorite adventures.

Though Nancy faced many challenges in her life, she remained strong, loving, and steadfast in her devotion to family and friends. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.

In addition to the beautiful memories held by her family, we invite those who knew Nancy to share their favorite stories, memories, or words of tribute on normandean.com. Nancy touched the lives of many, and we believe her legacy is best honored through the stories and experiences of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
