Obituary of Ann N. Ransegnola

Please share a memory of Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Nancy Rasnegnola, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at Morristown Medical Center.

Born on June 4th of 1937 and raised in Roselle Park, NJ, Ann embodied the true spirit of compassion and generosity, touching the lives of everyone who had the privilege to know her. Ann was a loving, caring, and thoughtful person whose empathetic nature and selfless sacrifices defined her life. Her passion for baking and crocheting brought joy to her family and friends, while her lively spirit shone brightly on the bowling alley and dance floor. Known for her remarkable jitterbug skills, she lit up every room with her glowing personality and love for life.

A testament to her unwavering love, Ann donated a kidney to her beloved husband, Albert, showcasing her remarkable dedication to family. She and Albert met at a friend's party, a serendipitous moment that sparked a beautiful love story and a family legacy filled with cherished memories.

Ann is survived by her devoted children, Lisa Golden and her husband Rich, Frank Ransegnola and his wife Lori, Laura Viteri and her husband George, and Lynda Lloyd and her husband Jim. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren: Samantha Golden, Allie Johnson and her husband Mike, Patrick Golden and his wife Samantha, Tom Ransegnola, Jason Ransegnola and Monica Ransegnola, Matthew Viteri, Michael Viteri, Hope Sullivan and her husband Matt, Charlie Lloyd, Grace Lloyd, Josie Lloyd, and Jackson Lloyd.

Mom’s heart expanded further with the arrival of her great-grandchildren: Savannah Goocharen, Addison Johnson, Brayden Johnson, Sunday Sullivan, and another baby Sullivan on the way, ensuring her spirit lives on through generations.

As we celebrate her life, we remember her as a loving matriarch who taught us the true meaning of family, kindness, and love. Though she may be gone, her legacy of compassion and selflessness will forever inspire us. We find comfort in knowing that her love remains with us while she is reunited with those who have passed before her.

Please join us in celebrating Ann during the hours of visitation held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Norman Dean Home for Services. The following day, Monday, October 21, 2024, there will be a graveside service at Denville Cemetery at 11 AM. If you arrive early, we ask that you please park in the adjacent lot so as not to block the hearse from pulling as close to the grave as possible, thank you.

Please leave a condolence, share a memory, or light a candle to let Ann's light shine on!
