Born in Denville, he grew up in Dover and had lived in different parts of New England in his younger years. When returning to Jersey, he had lived in Randolph and Clifton for many years before returning to Dover, NJ 8 years ago for the remainder of his life. He was a committed fan of the New York Rangers Hockey Team and the New York Mets Baseball Team. He enjoyed his times going to art museums, and utilizing his membership at MoMA.

Arlington, as well as his step-daughter Sara Buruschkin of Dallas, TX, his loving mother Helen Kuzel of Dover, his adoring brothers John Kuzel of Denville, and Kenneth Kuzel and his wife Cynde of Dover, and his niece Kelsey Kuzel of Mt.
