Barbara (Baker) Hellriegel posted a condolence

I remember Eddie from living across the street (Morris Ave) and then down at the bottom of Lafayette Place. He always had a smile. Fun-loving, fast-moving, great to be around. My condolences to the family, and may he rest in peace.

Ed was one of the first people my parents met when they moved into Nolan's Ridge. He was kind and very silly. He really enjoyed making fun of my mom and she loved it!
My parents had a new kitten that managed to get out of the condo without anyone knowing. Ed was the first to come by and tell my parents that he had seen the cat and we were able to get him home.
He is missed.

I always loved this picture because of our big smiles. You obviously made some kind of joke or teased me about something prior to this pic being taken. Picture perfect moment of happy times. <3

So many funny memories with my uncle Eddie I don’t know where to start! He was most definitely a teaser! I will miss him always joking with me about the book he was writing on me “The Book of Dawn” for every hilarious event that I’ve encountered in my life, he would say “Welp that’s going in the book!” Will never forget the time my cousin, Jennifer and I decided to take a swim in the pool while he was at work (that we were apparently not supposed be doing, as it was just treated) well…my hair being platinum blonde at the time, had instantly turned a horrid shade of green & at the age of 16? It was the end of the world for me! We were so worried about getting in trouble, but when he came home & saw me he couldn’t stop laughing! So then I, myself, also couldn’t help but laugh! Or when I’d sleep over (him knowing that i talked & walked in my sleep when I was a kid) thought it was funny to egg it on & I would wake up to him and my cousin laughing hysterically at whatever gibberish I was saying!
So many memories, we will all miss him very much. So happy my kids got to experience having him in their lives.
RIP Uncle Eddie -I hope you’re with the rest of them! Xo
PS- where did you hide the book? And let me know about the aliens! Haha
Love ya
