The excitement of pulling up to my favorite Aunt’s house, in Oak Ridge, New Jersey, to see our favorite cousins was like nothing else in the world. Thanksgiving or Easter holidays, family reunions or summer trips - it did not matter - Aunt Helen always had a welcoming smile and a hug and made our family welcome. And I know that Aunt Helen left us with a powerful legacy that I hope to carry on with our own children - love of family. I love and miss you , Aunt Helen - Godspeed and take pride in a life well lived, Love, Joe

Helen and I shared a birth date and wished each other Happy Birthday across the miles by phone. Helen was upbeat and happy. I will always remember the sound of her heartfelt laughter!

How I will miss my cousin Helen. We shared so many wonderful memories when we were growing up and they continued even through the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. She and Phil invited me and my sister to share their abode there so that we could participate in their adventure. Helen was always open to including family in her family plans.
She so loved her family because her children and her grandchildren meant the world to her. She was ever so proud to share each an every accomplishment. She always shared their accomplishments and invited me to their weddings. I always felt included because Helen always communicated with me. I was ever so happy to hear about her family accomplishments.
Helen was one of the kindest and most sensitive human beings I ever knew. She was always concerned about and caring for others. The world will be a smaller place without her presence. I only hope that Helen will save me a place at the table where she now sits.
My dearest Helen, may the Lord hold you in the hollow of His hand until we meet again.
