Obituary of Barbara Ann Weatherford
Barbara Ann (Forsythe) Weatherford passed away at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ on May 15, 2024, at the age of 76.
Born in Dover, NJ to Clarence James and Helen Irene (Bidgood) Forsythe, she had lived in Boonton Twp. for her whole life.
She worked for many years as a Clerk for the Boonton Township Police Department and worked at St Claire’s hospital for many years before retiring in 2012. Barbara loved to dance, she also loved music and had a passion for country music in particular. She was a member of the Boonton Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the First Reformed Church in Boonton.
She was predeceased by her parents Clarence and Helen Forsythe as well as her brother James Forsythe.
Barbara is survived by her loving children Christina Weatherford and Michael and his wife Karin Weatherford, both of Boonton Twp., NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren Marcus, Jessica, Camryn and Tiffany, as well as her great grandchildren Derek and Marley Rae. Along with her brother Clifford Forsythe and many nephews, cousins and friends. Her family meant the world to her.
A Funeral Service for Barbara will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at 12 PM at Montville Reformed Church, 9 Church Lane, Montville. All are welcome to come and celebrate the life of this wonderful woman.
Memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Visiting Nurse Association of NJ or to the Boonton Township Police Department by way of www.inmemof.org.
