Obituary of Dolores A. Yagozinski
Mrs. Dolores A. Yagozinski, wife of Roger S. Yagozinski, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Saint Clare's Hospital in Dover. She had shared 86 years of unconditional love, infectious laughter, priceless wisdom, and unforgettable memories with family and friends.
Dolores was born and raised in New York City and was the daughter of the late Robert and Agnes Logan. Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and her family meant everything to her.
Dolores worked at MetLife, Inc., in Computer Data Entry, where she met her future beloved husband, Roger. She would later focus on managing the household and raising their son, Steven. Dolores volunteered in her community, offering her time to school activities, the local library, and the Cub Scouts. Dolores was known as an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting in her free time. Dolores loved animals and cared for many dogs over the years.
Dolores was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Janet & John Tobin and sister-in-law, Eris Wisniowski. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Roger; her adored son and daughter-in-law, Steven (Ana) Yagozinski; her cherished grandchildren, Samantha Yagozinski, Justin Yagozinski, Joshua Yagozinski, and Natalie Yagozinski; her brother, Robert (Gail) Logan; her brother-in-law, Walter Wisniowski; her nephews, John (Carol) Tobin, Robert (Stacey) Tobin, Brian (Patti) Tobin, Jason (Melissa) Wisniowski, and Peter (Mariah) Wisniowski; her nieces, Margaux (Bryon) Stephen and Laurie (Matt) Tierney; her grandnephews, Matthew Stephen, Steven Tierney, Brian Tobin, Jr., Kalen Tobin, Liam Tobin, Bailey Wisniowski, and Hunter Wisniowski.
Public Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13th from 4 – 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 14th at 11 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church, 204 Espanong Road, Lake Hopatcong. Graveside service will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, 168 N. Sussex Street, Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations to Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, 636 Morris Turnpike, Suite 3A, Short Hills, NJ 07078 http://christopherreeve.org or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, http://www.stjude.org, would be graciously appreciated.
