Obituary of Kathleen Cecilia Meehan

Kathleen Cecilia Meehan passed away surrounded by her family after a short illness at The Oaks in Denville, NJ.

Born in Jersey City, she lived in Somerset, NJ before moving to Lake Hopatcong, NJ in 1978.

Kathleen worked in insurance sales and training for Sanford Insurance Group in Montclair since 2020, and prior at Horizon Blue Cross for many years prior.  She loved reading and traveling and spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her parents Thomas R. and Sheila M. (DeWeever) Meehan.

Kathleen is survived by her loving children Charles Barisonek of Fort Myers, FL, Amanda Hoover of Fort Myers, FL, John Thomas “J.T.” Levonick of Lake Hopatcong, and Thomas Levonick of Garwood, NJ. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Jess, Jack and Saraj, as well as her adoring sister Mary Beth Hennessy of Long Beach Twp., NJ.
