My first meeting with Liz was at a Marching Band competition. She sat next to me and was crying because she loved the music so much. We became good friends throughout several years thereafter. She and Bill were our sponsors when my husband Skip and I joined the Methodist Church in Denville. After they moved to Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia we had many wonderful visits with them as we went around the lake in their pontoon and as we played pinocle for many hours with them. Liz was so kind and caring to us through the years. I feel so blessed that we had such a wonderful visit together here in New Jersey just a few weeks ago. The memories we shared together will keep Liz alive to me until we meet again. She was a wonderful person and friend. My sympathy to her family. She had a great love for all of you. I am glad she is now reunited with Bill.

Few words can express all the love the Idec family has shared with Liz since first meeting on Highland Trail in 1967. A faith filled wife, mother, neighbor, and friend. God's Blessings on her eternal Heavenly journey with Bill forever at her side.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I did odd jobs for Liz at the lake. I always enjoyed our conversations & her stories about the good times that were had at the lake in the early years. My deepest sympathies. Mark Dolan
