Obituary of Radcliffe Mendez Brockett

Radcliffe Mendez Brockett affectionately call Raddy, passed away suddenly at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center on March 4, 2024, at the age of 59.

Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, on December 26, 1964, to Oscar and Maud (Williams) Brockett, he moved to the United States in May of 2015

He lived in Hurlock District Johns Hall Montego Bay St James Jamaica before moving to Budd Lake, NJ in 2015, Where he was a skilled plumber by trade and a devoted Christian and family man Raddy loves the lord and gave his life to God and got baptized in 2004. He was a warm cheerful person who never says no and always ready to assist anyone in need at any time. Throughout his time Raddy’s warm smile and bubbling personality touched everyone that he came in contact with where it always leaves a lasting impression of him.

He worked as a storeroom operator at Walmart in Flanders for 5 years.

He loved to Sing and was a big fan of Bob Marley, He was also the family comedian and was the light to brighten any room when he enters. He also loved to watch cricket and Sanford and son. He also enjoys cooking for his family and friends.

Saddened by the fact that he has passed on, we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace with the Lord. We now look to those he leaves behind to carry on his memory of kindness and generosity.

Radcliffe is survived by his beloved wife Lorna Coke- Brockett who he knew for over 40 years and has been married to for 19 years, his son Andrae, two grandchildren Jordane and Ahvia, his sisters Cynth, Alcia and Sheryl, his brothers Richard and Howard, his mother-in- law Jenieve, and a wealth of nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in laws, families, and friends who miss him dearly. Though his memories are priceless, we will continue to remember him and keep his memories alive.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday April 6, 2024, in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
