You were such a kinda person! I still remember the day you walked into our shop with your Chevy Avalanche! You will be greatly missed! I’m so thankful for the time that we all had to get to know you!

We hadn’t seen Bill for a couple of decades. I’ll never forget his good natured manner and beautiful smile. He sparkled. Bill worked with Rich Poplaski and my Bill constructing a screened porch that I use every day that I can. We will never forget Bill Shapiro. RIP

I grew up in Union City with Bill and his brother Dave. I also had the pleasure of working with Bill bor many years at Union Hill. He was an asset to our school community and a dedicated teacher and media specialist. H was instrumental in guiding our Middle States Evaluation very organized and efficient. Whenever I was having a tough day I could hide in his office and of course he always had bagels and snacks. My thoughts and prayers are with Ellen and the entire Shapiro family during this most difficult time. Rest in Peace

It makes us smile recalling the sound of Bill's voice as he shared teaching stories with us. He was such a treasure and we are grateful our paths crossed, however briefly.
