Connie was a much loved member of our book club "Not So Greats" for many years. She was a great contributor to the meetings, besides sharing her lovely home and garden for meetings quite often. Our club isn't your average bookclub, but a group of close friends who have shared our lives for decades. During the past year, when Connie moved back to the area, we happily welcomed her back to the group and to our after meeting lunches. It was so good to see her again. Personally, one of my fondest memories of Connie was an impromptu dinner I attended one summer's evening in Mt. Tabor where she had brought together a beautiful group of disparate friends and we all shared an evening of laughter and friendship, and then retired to the garden. What a beautiful human being was Connie. I will always cherish her memory and remember the wonderful spirit she brought to the world. Peace be with her. Love, Mary Heinz
