Obituary of Alfred Muscolino

Alfred Muscolino passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 71.

Born and raised in Jersey City, he had lived in the White Meadow Lake section of Rockaway Township, NJ for 40 years.

He attended St. Peter’s College where he would meet his future bride, Rosemary E. Franco. Alfred then went on to work as a carpenter for Hudson County Union Local “6” for many years before retiring in 2014.

Alfred’s love for sports, started when his son began playing ice hockey. He then continued watching his grandsons play, as his son coached. He quickly became a multisport fan as he attended all of his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, sporting events. He also loved spending time fishing in White Meadow Lake with his grandsons. However, his biggest love, was spending time with his family.

Alfred is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Rosemary E. (Franco) Muscolino of Rockaway Twp., NJ. He is also survived by his loving son Nicholas Muscolino and his partner Kristy Pinand of Sparta, NJ. His cherished grandchildren Talon, Tyler, Cole and Avery also survive him as well as his brother Joseph and his wife Margaret Muscolino of Whiting, NJ, his sister in-law Gail Franco, nieces and nephews Danielle, Nichole, Cathy, Maggie, Jennifer, Laura, and Joey, and great nieces & nephews Jake, Olivia, Jude Nicholas, Gabby, Robbie, Alex, Jordan, Jessica, Kryssi, Mina and Leila.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church 63 East Main St., Rockaway, NJ 07866. Memorial Donations can be made in his memory to the Rockaway Township Recreation Department, 65 Mt. Hope Rd., Rockaway, NJ 07866.
