Grandma, thank you for being you! I have the most wonderful memories of my summers in New Jersey visiting you and grandpa. I remember when I came out by myself when I was 12 or 13 and you and grandpa took me to the Statue of Liberty and we went all the way to the top. I am forever grateful for all the times I got to spend with you. Leaving your house each time was so hard because I loved being there so much. I am so blessed that you came out to California for my wedding and that we have such sweet pictures from it. I am also forever grateful that you got to meet both of my children. I hope you felt honored when I picked Claire for Kennedy’s middle name, I wanted to show you how much you meant to me by giving my first child your name. She already knows how special it is to carry on your name. When you met Owen in Ohio for Tracey’s wedding will forever be etched on my heart. Thankfully I have a video to watch too, it’s so pure and sweet. I am at peace knowing that you are Heaven with our creator and I hope you and grandpa are up there dancing around and looking down on all of us with love and joy in your hearts. I am so proud of our family and I love each and every one so much. Thank you for the gift of them. We’ll never forget you and we’ll carry on your legacy!

To the Larosa Family
It is with deep sorrow for your loss that I write this. As children growing up in Ridgefield Park we had so much fun playing together. Mrs. Larosa was always a second mother to me and my siblings. I will always remember her kindness, love and her smile. Reading the story of her life on this web page of the children, grand & great grand prove to me that all of you have been very blessed to have her all of these years. The circle of life, amazing. Though your hearts are filled with sorrow please celebrate Clairs life. My love to all of you. Charlie Giliberti

If someone asked me to describe my Grandma in a few words I would not know where to start.
Compassionate - Grandma always wanted those around her to feel welcome with her infectious smile/laugh and how interested she was to hear about what was going on in your life. Whether it was asking about how I liked working with the people at my job, my commute into the city, or how well I got along with my roommate, she was always genuinely happy to have meaningful conversation and get an insight into my life.
Thoughtful - Grandma was always very sharp and up to date with the lives of those around her. She would clip out newspaper articles, listen to the news, and chat with others just so she could stay up to date with everyone’s lives. For me, this meant I would often hear about the news in Hoboken from her before I had seen/heard it myself.
Strong - Thinking through everything my Grandma had lived through - the Great Depression, WWII, raising 6 kids, and living by herself in a two story home into her mid 90s, I am constantly inspired by her mental and physical strength and it encourages me to be just as strong for those who are close to me.
I get emotional thinking about her loss but most of this is driven by the fact that I can acknowledge how truly blessed I was to call her my Grandma and role model.
Thank you Grandma for the impact you’ve made on my life and the countless lives of those who surrounded you. Your compassion, thoughtfulness, and strength lives on in all of us.
Love Timmy
P.S. It would be a HUGE oversight if I did not mention how awesome her spaghetti and meatballs were

Lisa and I were best friends growing up. I remember the LaRosa household as a haven of warmth and acceptance. It was her parents, particularly her mother, Mrs. LaRosa, who embodied this ideal.
Every time I think of Mrs. LaRosa, the word "family" springs to mind. It was obvious that she had a deep love for Lisa, and the entire LaRosa clan.
Whenever I stepped through the welcoming threshold of the LaRosa residence, I was met by Mrs. LaRosa's warm and inviting smile. It brings a smile to my face now just remembering it.
Truth be told, the idea of having Mrs. LaRosa as my own mother did enter my mind many times back then. She was such a warm, kind and lovely person, and I’m deeply sadden by her loss.

To The La Rosa Family,
Of course, I have wonderful memories of living between 5th Street and 6th Street. Our special shortcut. Sleigh riding down your driveway into the garage. Halloween costumes, Fourth of July, Communions, Conformation and everything in between. It always amazed me how our mothers just went with the flow.
How lovey that your Mother was able to live a long happy life and spend time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
May you rest in Peace Mrs. La Rosa. I will always remember your kindness and beautiful smile.
Love you,
Carolyn [ Giliberti ] Guyre

As a young child we all spent alot of time with our extended family in New Jersey. Every memory is as as fresh as the day it was made. What an impact this has had on all of our Iives! Aunt Claire was always a big part of those happy times. A constant presence. Time and distance never changed that love of family and the fond memories I have of her. Always had a big hug and a kiss for us and she was just such a sweet soul. Most of our early LaRosa family members have passed and I'm certain that they were all there each and every one of them to embrace her into eternal life. True family is forever and love lives on in each of us. My deepest condolences to all of her children and their families. I'm so sorry for your loss. May Gods love bring you comfort in the difficult days ahead. Sending love to all of you ❤️
