Allie was always such a caring and amazing person to talk to. She was an internet friend, but I had the honor of getting to know her over the past 5 years, and although that entire time she was going through her own health struggles, she never hesitated to make sure that I and everyone else around her were also ok. We had talked about getting together in the city with our dogs once covid restrictions lifted, and I so wish we were able to make that happen. When I had covid Allie sent me the sweetest care package, full of things like her favorite tiger balm, some coloring books, a dog toy, and the softest blanket that I still use. I'm a big fundraiser for MSK, and me and Allie always supported each other when I was fundraising or when she was fundraising for the undie run. A few months ago I debated signing my dog up as a therapy dog at MSK, and Allie thought it was the best idea because of how much Leo had brought joy into her life. I never got around to actually doing it, but will be now in her honor. Sending so much love to all of her friends and family, may her memory be a blessing.

Thank you for being one of my first friends at Marist. Even though we fell out of touch after school, I loved keeping up with your adventures and thought of you every time I heard a Taylor Swift song (which was pretty often). You had an amazing attitude about life and were a fierce defender of your friends. You are, and will continue to be, sorely missed. My love to your family and your beloved Leo. Allie, I don’t know how to properly convey what you’ve meant to me these past few years and how you’ve touched my life. From the moment we first connected, we got each other. We knew pieces of each other’s struggles and lives that so few could truly understand and relate to. Just knowing you were always there was such a comfort and I know I tried to tell you but I hope you know what a gift to my life you were and how thankful I am to you. Your last message to me is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. And I will think of you with every Taylor Swift song, anytime I’m able to donate blood, and through every health battle I’ll face.
